See here for Ruth Dudley Edwards’ essay on the recent honor killings trial in Canada.
I had previously recommended her fiction here.
Then there is this essay by Nick Cohen, who sneers at the deluded way in which today’s liberals and leftists think that they are courageously speaking truth to power, when in fact they are cowards in the face of Islamist threats:
So thoroughgoing is the evasion that when Grayson Perry, who produced what Catholics would consider to be blasphemous images of the Virgin Mary, said what everyone knew to be true in 2007, the media treated his candour as news. “The reason I have not gone all out attacking Islamism in my art,” said Perry, “is because I feel real fear that someone will slit my throat.”
Well, okay, he doesn’t want his throat slit. No one can blame him for that. But one can blame him for going after Catholics under those circumstances. After all, it should be pretty clear that Muslims are the greater threat to secularism and freethinking in the West, not Catholics, so why attack Catholics? Even worse is that people like him should have figured out that we have a big problem and that saying nothing against and doing nothing about the Islamification of the West when it’s still relatively safe to do so is unforgivable.

Great information you got here. I've been reading about this topic for one week now for my papers in school and thank God I found it here in your blog. I had a great time reading this.
