The New Ignorance: Concerning Lincoln

I’ve talked before about what I call the new ignorance here and here. Here is another item to be added to the list: Abraham Lincoln owned slaves. Yep, the guy who grew up in poverty in a log cabin in Illinois where there weren’t any slaves nevertheless owned slaves. I imagine that even if they were told he hadn’t owned slaves, they would reject this fact as something racist.
