The hyperbolic claims of Democrats over Trump’s actions, to the effect that democracy is being destroyed, leave me unmoved. A tax cut is killing everyone? Right. These people in their anguish can always move to Canada. In fact, some of them threatened to do that before the election, but of course, they didn’t follow through.
But where do people like me go? I and others see leftist elites (and even non-leftist elites) throughout the Western world helping those despicable people who want to impose their values on us and replace our democracy with an ultraconservative theocracy. Aside from Trump, who else is there who is putting up any resistence to Islamification? And where can we go to escape this? There is nowhere in the Western world that is safe, as far as I can see. That leaves Eastern Europe and East Asia, and neither is terribly appealing. So, count your blessings, Democrats. You can go north to Canada where you can speak English and live in a country that is remarkably like our own, except for being generally more liberal. Of course, you should be careful of this (scroll down to the former American’s letter), which your favorite president instituted.
