What happened in Australia mirrored what happened in our last presidential election, with polls proclaiming ahead of time a victory for the left and the actual votes giving a victory to the right. And you claimed there had to be collusion with the Russians in order to make this possible. So, do you say the same thing about Australia? One would have thought that the Australian left had been alerted to the possibility and worked to prevent it, yet the right still won.
This sort of parallel situation was always a problem for the Truthers. They insisted that 9/11 was an inside job, yet similar things happened elsewhere – in Spain in 2004, in England in 2005, and many lesser incidents here and there since then. For that matter, Muslims had tried to destroy the World Trade Center back in 1993. Were they all part of the same vast conspiracy by the Bush administration? Fortunately, the Truther nonsense has faded away, though our elites are still doing their best to promote their slightly more respectable nonsense in the face of massive amounts of evidence that they are wrong.
