Yes. Capitalism creates. It creates productive capacity that in turn creates goods and services that elevate life. This is what the poor most need, the ability to create value and care for themselves. This is also how one creates deserved pride in oneself, a.k.a. self-esteem. That's what poor people need, not handouts given by leftist elites.

That's the message I got from your book, and also from Peruvian economist Hernando De Soto ("The Other Path," "The Mystery of Capital").

To fight capitalism is to fight the one thing that actually liberates the poor. Your right-wing egalitarianism ought to be the standard for anyone who cares about poverty.
