A Destroyer of Leftist Fantasies

The current squabble going on in Libya is destroying some fantasies leftists have about the United States and Donald Trump. This is because of the two sides in this squabble, neither is backed by the United States. We aren’t involved at all. The first fantasy that this destroys is the one that says that if only the United States were to be destroyed, we could have peace on earth. Yet despite the lack of American involvement, there is no peace. The second (related) fantasy destroyed is that America is somehow the source of all evil in the world. Well, the situation there is the result of U.S. actions, but it was the actions of Obama and Hillary that led us here. Oops. The third fantasy is that Trump is a bloodthirsty warmonger who would get us involved in wars here, there, and everywhere. It hasn’t happened, not even in Iran. Naturally, we don’t hear much about Libya in our news.
