This report, which is in Arabic (though you can run it through Google Translate), asserts that Turkey claims that Egyptian troops have been sent to Syria. Recently, Egypt was prepared to send troops to Libya, but now we are hearing of them in Syria. The report claims that the Egyptians want to ensure that Syria’s Bashar al-Assad remains leader and isn’t toppled by Turkish forces.
If true – and no one else is reporting this – it shows once again the ridiculousness of the far left’s view that if only America would stop waging war, everyone else would stop. Instead, what happens is that others will rush in to fill a power vacuum.
Also, Egypt is likely to be in conflict with Ethiopia, and by extension, China, if this continues:
