I would like to know how Greek leftists feel as things start to heat up between Greece and Turkey. Are they still pro-immigrant? Are they still showering love and affection on Muslims at every opportunity? Or have they started to figure things out? See here, for example, to get an idea of what Greece is facing:
Chairman of Turkey’s National Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, said Greece has been a “malignant tumor” that has been bothering Turkey since 1821, the year the Greek War of Independence began.
“This malignant tumor will be cured if possible, otherwise it will be eradicated at all costs,” he said in a message.
The nice thing about this kind of Islamic threat is that it is so easy to understand. For years those of us who have tried to resist the Islamification of the West have had to argue that a slow takeover by Muslims is happening, and that can easily be denied by our elites. But calling Greece a malignant tumor and threatening to eradicate it are strong words that even a clueless leftist might be able to understand.
Perhaps. But Islamists have been saying this about Israel for years, and America as well.
And since Greece was crucial in the founding of Western civilization, I imagine some leftists think Greece *should* be canceled.
